We know all of the cliched answers but maybe we just need to approach it in some fresh ways. We would love it if you would take the journey with us!

In June, 1899, Louis Klopsch, who was editor of the British weekly magazine The Christian Herald, read these words from Luke 22:20: "This cup is the new testament in my blood, which I shed for you." Seizing upon the symbolism of blood, Klopsch asked his pastor, Dr. T. Dewitt Talmage, if Christ's words could not be printed in red. His mentor replied: "It could do no harm and it most certainly could do much good." The following year Klopsch published the first red-letter New Testament, and since then millions of Christians have read the words of Jesus in scarlet.
We pay a lot of attention to what a lot of people say regarding Christianity. Certain Christians are called on by the secular media to represent the Christian stance on any number of issues, and some accept what they say as "The Christian Position." But what did Jesus talk about? And what didn't he talk about? What was important to him? Seems to me that if we are going to call ourselves followers of Jesus, we better understand as best as we can what he actually did say.
Beginning June 3rd, we are going to concentrate on the red-letters in the Bible. Join us each week as we hear and follow our Savior's voice.journey with us!
