Welcome!
Hi! Thanks for checking out our website. We are really excited about what God is doing at our church, and we hope some of that comes through. You can find a lot of information about our church on this site, but if you really want to see what God is doing at First Baptist Church, you need to come check it out for yourself...continue.
REFRESH...A Spiritual Renewal Weekend
Sometimes the busyness and circumstances of life can be overwhelming and can leave us feeling disconnected to God and one another. We desperately need renewal after such seasons. Please purpose to be with us for REFRESH on October 24th, 25th and 26th. This weekend experience will allow for opportunities to reconnect and maybe even be transformed in the process.
We'll be led by good friend and Worship Leader, Andy Landers, who will be accompanied by his wife, Jody, and their three-year-old twins, Zeke and Kora. Their story of adoption in the war-ravaged country of Sierra Leone will inspire and challenge us to go deeper in a wading pool world.
Childcare will be provided throughout the weekend for infants through 2 years of age. An additional event is being planned for Saturday night so that our children will be able to participate in a Spiritual Renewal evening of their own.
To read more about the Landers' adoption journey go here and click on adoption. And don't forget to clear your calendar for Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning and Sunday night. You'll be glad you did!
